My Star Wars Showdown! conversion is based on the Savage Worlds Showdown skirmish rules from Great White Games.

 

I decided to put these unit cards together after checking out Rod Philip's Showdown In A Galaxy Far Far Away unit cards and scenario.

 

I looked at both Jon Woodland's and Paul Tobia's Star Wars conversions for the Savage Worlds role-playing game. I ended up using Paul's Force rules for Luke.

 

John Brown has created a third Savage Worlds Star Wars conversion that’s very complete.

 

I based many of the units off of discussions on the Great White Games Forums and the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Miniatures Games stats.
 

The Savage Worlds Showdown Yahoo Group is a great place to discuss Savage Worlds Showdown! and Savage Heroes has tons of conversions for Savage Worlds.

I ran a couple of games of Star Wars Showdown! at the KublaCon game convention during Memorial Day weekend 2005 in Burlingame, California.

 

I’ve also run a game at my local convention, Orc-Con, on President’s Day weekend 2006.

Jon Woodland made an incredible Lava Planet terrain board with glowing lava!  Lots of pictures are on his website including instructions on how he did it.
